Answers to Frequently Asked Questions.

Q : Can we bring our kids?

A : This is a family oriented event, and kids are welcome. However, this is not Chucky Cheese and all children should be kept under control. Kids are welcome to draw on the Art Car and there will be other things to keep the youngsters busy.

Q : Can we bring our dog?

A : All dogs must be kept in check throughout the day. All dogs must be kept on a leash and the owner is responsable for cleaning up after them. You will also have to provide your own water for your pet.

Q : If we don't want to do the Saturday morning drive, can we come straight to the winery?

A : Yes you may. The gates at the winery will open at 10:30. DO NOT GET THETRE EARLY UNLESS YOU ARE A VOLUNTEER.

Q : How can I set up as a vendor?

A : You must contact me for approval because available space at the event site is limited. scottsturdy@yahoo.com

Q : I have a trailered vehicle, where do I park?

A : The best thing to do is to unload, and drive or push the vehicle to the display area. There is no room for trailers in the display area. Trailers can be parked beside the road or up at the winery.

Q : Do I have to be a member of BMWCCA?

A : No.

Q : Can I come even if I don't have a vintage BMW?

A : Yes. Spectator parking is near the entrance gate and up at the winery. Specators are FREE.

Q : Is there beer for sale?

A : No the only alcohol for sale at the winery is wine which is available by the glass and by the bottle. OUTSIDE ALCOHOL IS NOT PERMITTED. These are the wishes of Westbend Vineyards and we should respect them. Anyone caught with a beer will be asked to leave .

Q : Any suggestions on wine from Westbend Vineyards?

A : If you like full bodied reds, try the Chabourcin (sham-bor-sin), and the Cab Franc is also good. If you like white wine, the 'barrel fermented' Chardonnay is very good !

Q : What kind of food is available?

A : We will be using the same food vendor as last year and they had a pretty good selection to pick from. Hot dogs, hamburgers, bratwurst, BBQ, curly fries (wow!), funnel cakes, etc. They also had Sodas, water, iced tea, and lemonade. Hoever if you want to bring a picnic lunch please do so.

Q : Can we bring our own food?

A : No problem.

Q : Will you have event t-shirts available again this year?

A : We will have event t-shirts and posters for sale at the registration tent. We will also have any leftover event t-shirts and posters from last year for sale. Sales of event items will start at 12:00 noon.

Q : Hey Scott, will you be wearing your lederhosen again?

A : You know it!!!
